The Drum can reveal the shortlist of charities in the running for a new website, worth £10,000, to be created by web design and development company Mercurytide.

The competition, launched by The Drum in partnership with the Edinburgh agency, seeks to provide a charity with a new site, as well as the digital support needed to make its brand work online.

Judging will take place in the first week of May, with the winner announced later that month. Judging the shortlisted charities will be a panel of individuals from the marketing, media and business spheres. Leading the judging panel is Fiona Ballantyne, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Also on the panel are Liz Cameron of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce; nutritionist and broadcaster Amanda Hamilton; Mercurytide founder Tamlin Roberts; Rachel MacSween, marketing manager at Edinburgh Napier University; The Drum’s editor Gordon Young; David Wither, MD of Flow Hospitality Training; and Martin McBride, managing partner at Envision Management Consultants.
