The Digital Economy Anti Piracy Act delayed until 2014 Government confirms

The Government’s piracy law, The Digital Economy Act has been delayed until 2014.

According to the BBC, the Department of Culture, Media and Sport confirmed the delay, which will impose measures to tackle piracy in the UK.

The Act was a proposal passed on from the previous Labour Government, sanctioned in 2010.

No explanation for the delay has been relayed at the time of writing however.
