The nominations have now been announced for this year's Chip Shop Awards.

A record 129 nominations from all over the world have been shortlisted for the creative awards ceremony with no limits.

They include entries from Grinterspencer in Australia, gmbh and Miami Ad School Europe in Germany, Spank in Denmark, 99 Enterprises in New Zealand and Aimia in Canada.

But it is UK agencies that lead the nominations tally. Out in front are Big Communications with eight, Saatchi & Saatchi x (seven), EHS 4D Group (five), C21 (four), Elvis Communications (four) and IAS b2b Marketing (four).

The Chip Shop Awards is the only creative awards scheme of its kind. There are no rules, the ads do not have to run and the agencies do not have to work with the clients in real life.

The jury was chaired by Leo Burnett creative director John Jessup who revealed his choice for this year's Chairman's Award in this video interview with The Drum.

You can see a selection of the nominated videos on this page and much of the nominated work in the gallery below. The full list of nominations is on the Chip Shop Awards website.
