Isobar has announced the appointments of Gavin Rooke and Marc Huijbregts as executive officer and executive director of global clients, respectively.

Rooke, founder of South African digital agency Trigger, which was acquired by Isobar in 2007, has been tasked with identifying and driving consistent product, structures, culture and integration within Isobar and the wider Aegis Group.

He said: “It’s great to be back at Isobar in a new role and as part of the network leadership team. Isobar has a fantastic proposition and I’m excited to get started and help Isobar realise its full potential as a global digital agency network.”

Huijbregts, who joins from his most recent role as Saatchi & Saatchi’s worldwide digital director, will be expected to explore all opportunities within Isobar and the Aegis Media Group to grow Isobar’s multi-market client revenues.

He added: “Isobar has an impressive pool of talent in creativity and innovation globally and I am relishing the opportunity to join the team and work with our clients to ensure they benefit from the full range of services that Isobar has to offer.”

Mark Cranmer, global chief executive officer of Isobar, said: “Gavin and Marc bring with them exceptional agency and client experience and join our network leadership team to help build on Isobar’s evolution as an unparalleled, connected communications agency. They continue to drive the coherent global creative vision for our business that is taking Isobar to the next level both globally and in the UK.”
