Bottled water brand Highland Spring is to run an onpack promotion, offering consumers the chance to win a personal training session with four-time Olympic gold medal winning cyclist Sir Chris Hoy.

The promotion will reach stores in May, offering the opportunity to win the training session, as well as gym membership and a personal training for a year.

100 winners will also win a month’s gym members, while 40 winners will receive £50 worth of sporting gift vouchers.

Every participant will receive a free five-day-gym pass, as the brand aims to inspire the nation to get fit.

Claire Wilson, head of sponsorship at Highland Spring said: “Chris is one of the UK’s most iconic sportsmen and as we draw closer to the 2012 Olympic Games, he is inspiring the nation to get active and enjoy sport. A recent Highland Spring survey also revealed Chris to be one of a handful of UK sportspeople who bring Brits joy, alongside the likes of David Beckham and Rebecca Adlington. “

She continued: “Highland Spring is a long standing supporter of British sport and is committed to reinforcing the health benefits of staying hydrated during sport. Our exciting new on-pack promotion gives the chance for a lucky winner to enjoy a once in a lifetime experience they will never forget.”

Chris Hoy has been sponsored by Highland Spring since 2008 and works with the brand in order to motivate children to adopt sporting activities and better drinking habits.

An integrated marketing campaign will include online advertising, PR and social media activity, as well as a dedicated web page being added to Highland Spring’s website.
