Visit Scotland seeks ‘spokespeople’ to harness Olympics PR

Tourism body Visit Scotland has announced it is to capitalise on a bumper sporting calendar with the launch of ‘The Winning Years’, a bid to maximise their tourism potential.

This will see VisitScotland work with VisitBritain to source spokespeople to deliver country specific storylines to be used by broadcasters around the world as part of their Olympics coverage.

These will be particularly targeted toward China, japan, USA and Europe.

A deadline for entries has been set for Tuesday 24 April 2012.
