Jurys Inn, which unveiled an ATL ad campaign with Elvis on Monday, has now offered commuters in Newcastle the chance to have a cheeky lie-in, with a Jurys Inn bed placed in the train station.

A recent survey carried out by Jurys Inn found 1 in 3 people said they would stay overnight before a meeting to ensure they are there in time and refreshed for the day ahead, with a quarter stating that an overnight hotel stay prior to a business meeting is proof they are valued by their employer.

Suzanne Cannon, group marketing manager for Jurys Inn, said: “I’m sure we would all like to stay in bed a little longer in the mornings and our aim today is to show commuters how staying in our city centre hotels gives you the opportunity to enjoy that cheeky lie-in before a city-centre meeting. We can’t guarantee your meeting will go well but we can guarantee you will feel relaxed and ready for the day ahead.”
