Soccer Aid promoted through taxi ad campaign by Hello Charlie and Transport Media
Soccer Aid, the celebrity football match in aid of UNICEF, is being promoted throughout Manchester from today through a taxi advertising campaign, designed by Hello Charlie and handled by Transport Media.
Transport Media was appointed by Endemol company Initial to handle the short term, high impact outdoor advertising campaign, which will run for four weeks.
Maxine Campbell, outdoor consultant at Transport Media, said: “I am extremely happy to work with Initial on a campaign for such an important charity event. Outdoor Advertising is a great tool for getting a message across to a large audience, and therefore increasing ticket sales for Soccer Aid and raising more money for UNICEF to change the lives of children across the world.”
Names confirmed to take part in the match so far are Take That’s Mark Owen, chef Gordon Ramsay, comedians John Bishop and Paddy McGuiness, and actors Will Ferrell and Gerard Butler, alongside footballing heroes Teddy Sheringham and Edwin van der Sar.
