McCann London will not look for a direct replacement for managing director Nick Constantinou, following his departure.

While the agency declined to comment, The Drum understands that the agency does not intend to directly replace Constantinou, who left this week after nearly two years, for another role within Interpublic, it has been reported.

Constantinou replaced Chris Macdonald after he was promoted to chief executive in 2008, although it took two years for the appointment to be made.
