Brantano appoints Big to handle its brand and communications account

Shoe retailer Brantano has appointed Big to handle its brand and communications account, with the aim of developing a recognisable, consistent brand image.

Jennifer Dunne, Brantano’s marketing manager, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Big on all campaign work. They showed a firm understanding of our business from the outset and delivered a compelling and consistent brand template that could be rolled out for all forthcoming campaigns.”

Knowledge and customer service will form the focus of the messaging, with the new look and feel to launch this summer with Brantano’s ‘Back to School’ campaign, encompassing in-store POS and direct mail.

Mike Phillipson, Big MD, commented: “Our creative solution will give Brantano a point of differentiation over generalist retailers and help to project them as a genuine 5-star footwear specialist retailer. We are looking forward to contribute to the Brantano business, present and future.”
