Public relations body the PRCA has unveiled its new-look management team.

Katie Goodrum has been promoted to director of events, marketing and commercial partnerships. She will be responsible for running the PRCA Awards and networking programme along with its overall marketing strategy and commercial partnerships.

Jessica Lobendhan has also been promoted to be the new director of training and professional development.

The internal promotions coincide with the arrival of Katharine Barney who, as reported by The Drum last week, is replacing Richard Ellis as director of communications and policy.

The new team will work under chief executive Francis Ingham who remains in place as the organisation's figurehead.

Ingham said: "I am delighted to have such a strong and dynamic team in place to further promote all the great work the PRCA and our members do. To promote in-house demonstrates the emphasis we put on personal development while also recognising the benefits of drawing on outside experience.”
