Poppy Appeal appoints LightBrigade PR to handle cupcake range

The Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal is promoting the launch of its new cupcake range, created by food supplier Ticco, with LightBrigade PR.

The cupcake pack has been designed as part of a campaign to raise £1m over three years for The Poppy Appeal 2012 and The Royal British Legion, and will be available in major

Alan Twigg, MD at LightBrigade, said: "The Poppy Appeal is such a well established and respected British institution. This project is a fun way of communicating with people of all ages and a different way of raising funds outside of just buying the iconic poppy.

"We love the idea that Ticco has created products that are made for sharing. Remembrance is a time we believe people should really come together in their thoughts and gratitude to those who have served us, and continue to serve us, with such bravery and professionalism around the world."
