Aldi appointment for Clarion to handle consumer PR for beer, wine and spirit range
Supermarket chain Aldi has appointed Clarion Communications to handle its consumer PR to promote its range of beers, wines and spirits in the UK.
Clarion has been tasked with conveying the quality and value for money offered by the range, and plans to use endorsement, awards and creative news generation in order to achieve this.
Amanda Meyrick, managing director of Clarion, said: “Aldi has an extremely impressive range of beer, wine and spirits at incredible value for money and we’ll be promoting these not just through the drinks columns but also in the news pages.”
Aldi’s consumer PR account will continue to be serviced by Weber Shandwick across all other grocery categories however.
