IAB recruits Chester from Microsoft as head of data and industry programmes
The Internet Advertising Bureau has announced the recruitment of Steve Chester, former group head of account management at Microsoft and Hannah Bewley, former research and insight manager for the COI.
Chester takes the role of head of data and industry programmes, where he will be handed responsibility for the running of the programmes team and overseeing key councils, while delivering key initiatives for the organisation. He will also be responsible for educating the marketing in data useage and how it can be leveraged through online advertising.
The Councils he will mainly steer will be the Display (Ad Operations), Search, Video and the Games Steering Group.
Bewley joins as research manager, with responsibility for supporting IAB members with specific research projects. She will also update the organisation’s website with current member research.
The IAB is also to recruit a research and education assistant and a mobile regulatory affairs manager.
