Debenhams appoints Fetch as mobile advertising agency

Department store Debenhams has appointed Fetch as its mobile advertising agency, with the agency to be responsible for mobile marketing and advertising activity.

Fetch will be also be in charge of mobile media planning and buying as Debenhams seeks to grow the number of app downloads and expand its multichannel strategy.

Simon Forster, Debenhams online trading director, said: “As the number of customers interacting with our brand on mobile continues to increase, Debenhams is looking to Fetch to capitalise on this growth and generate valuable mobile interactions using their specialist knowledge of the industry”.

James Connelly, managing director of Fetch, added: “We are delighted to be working with such a successful and much loved brand as Debenhams. We feel that there are a huge amount of exciting and innovative ideas that we can work together on to ensure that mobile becomes a crucial part of Debenhams’ overall digital strategy.”
