Absolute Media devise Barbados tourism drive

The Barbados Tourism Authority have launched a campaign to promote the 2nd annual British Airways Barbados Legends Football Tournament.

Devised by Absolute Media the campaign includes branding, social media, team kit design and a new website.

Kicking off from May 26-27 the event will take 64 footballers past and present including Alan Shearer, Dwight Yorke and Gianfranco Zola, to Barbados to play in a tournament of nine teams.

Petra Roach, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Barbados Tourism Authority said “This was the first job that Absolute has worked on for us since we brought them on board to help with our design needs and they have really impressed us with their quality and professionalism. All the partners really like the new website and they have been a great addition to our team.”

Chris Hodgen, Managing Director, Absolute Media said; “The Barbados account was one we all really wanted to work on. We already have a client on the island with Royal Westmoreland and we love working with the Bajans - who are such an inspirational and passionate group of people. Our first project was not the biggest, but it was really fun to work on and further strengthens our tourism portfolio. We look forward to a long standing relationship with Petra and the BTA.”
