Food brand GLORIOUS! has hired five agencies to handle its biggest marketing activity since its launch in 2008.

Following agency meetings and pitches which began in November, the brand has now appointed I Love Dust (for design), Vapour (digital), Unmissable (sales promotion) Umpf (PR and social media) and Mars Webb (also PR).

The agencies will work with the in-house marketing team to create "a range of campaigns" to promote the GLORIOUS! line of soups, stews and sauces.

Matthew Stephenson, marketing manager at GLORIOUS!, said: “We have some exciting, unusual and bold campaigns planned this year which will further develop our A-Z of Global Flavours story, articulating our ‘adventure through food’ message.

“The range of marketing activity will include on-pack, press, PR, social media, and product sampling, as well as a fully revamped website which will be more socially-focussed.

“We have had great success with the brand so far and we want to continue to build on this. We now have in place a full range of agencies to support the in-house team in bringing together what will be the brand’s biggest marketing activity since it was launched in 2008.”
