Panadol has been announced as the sponsor for upcoming Saturday night prime time show, Keith Lemon’s LemonAid, ITV Commercial has revealed.

Aided by a different celebrity helper each week, Keith will meet real people with real problems and will seek to tackle those problems in a mischievous style.

Dani Roe, account sales manager at ITV, said: "Keith Lemon appeals to a mass audience and we are delighted to welcome him to our flagship channel, ITV1. We believe that Panadol is the perfect sponsor for the new programme Keith Lemon's LemonAid and hope that it will be a great platform for the brand to reach its core target audience."

Rose Gray, Panadol senior brand manager, said: “The sponsorship of LemonAid is a perfect property for Panadol to reach a widespread audience. Panadol comes to the aid of UK consumers with its pain relief, so linking to Keith Lemon’s LemonAid where Keith also provides aid to the public in his own unique way is a great fit.”

The deal for the show, which will begin 7 April, was negotiated by ITV Commercial and Mediacom on behalf of GlaxoSmithKline.
