Expedia.com appoints 180LA as its full-service agency of record

Expedia.com has appointed creative agency 180 Los Angeles (180LA) as its full-service agency of record, where it will direct brand strategy, creative development and execution, and integration across all formats, including digital.

Incumbent agency, The Martin Agency, did not participate in the review by Expedia.com, and TargetCast TCM will continue to handle media planning and buying.

Joe Megibow, general manager and vice president of Expedia.com, said: “We were looking for an agency that could help us bring the passion we have for travel to our customers, and we chose 180LA for their proven track record in developing compelling and share-worthy ideas that deliver results, something that was already evident in their pitch.

180LA has been tasked with developing and launching a fully integrated marketing campaign later in 2012, with the implementation of advertising, digital and social media.
