Real and Smooth Radio partner with Marketing Blackpool for Illuminations Switch On

GMG’s Real and Smooth Radio has announced that it is again partnering with Marketing Blackpool for the Illuminations Switch On.

The radio stations worked in partnership with Marketing Blackpool on the Illuminations Switch On in 2010 and 2011, with this year’s even taking place on Friday 31 August in the new location of The Tower Festival Headland.

Natalie Wyatt, managing director of Marketing Blackpool, sad: “We are delighted to be working with Real and Smooth Radio again to produce the Illuminations Switch On event. The last two years have proved to be a huge success with over a hundred thousand tickets applied for to see this world class show.

“2012 is a landmark year for the Illuminations as it marks the centenary year of the Lights in their current form and also will be the first year that the Switch On event is held on the Tower Festival Headland. Because of this, we are looking forward to working with Real and Smooth to stage a spectacular event on Blackpool’s brightest night of the season!”
