Bruce Daisley, UK sales director for Twitter has said that at the current time there is no plan to announce a date for the roll out of its advertising platform for small businesses, launched in partnership with American Express.

The self-service platform is currently only available in America to advertisers who accept or use American Express cards, with users able to set their advertising limit, pick where they want the ad to appear and write their own message.

Talking at Social Media World Forum in London, Daisley highlighted the launch of the deals platform in the US yesterday, but added that there were not yet plans in place to announce a UK roll out.

He later added; 'everything you see roll out in the US is likely to roll out in UK'.
