Freshwater Scotland has launched its dedicated consumer offering, F5 brands, representing Freshwater’s five consumer specialisms: tourism & leisure, retail, fashion, beauty and food & drink.

F5 bands announced that some of the clients which it starts with include plus size fashion brand Curvissa, Loch Lomond Arms Hotel, Edinburgh Tourism Action Group, restaurant chain Red Hot World Buffet and Belfast-based pharmaceutical company Sangers.

Steve Howell, Freshwater CEO, said: “The way consumers want to engage with brands is changing and as PR agencies it’s our job to keep ahead of that. It’s no longer good enough to simply pull together a bunch of press releases for a client but instead we should be looking at the best way of achieving their objectives through whatever communications channels are going to be the most effective. Our vision is that F5 will do just that by combining the team’s consumer brand know-how with our experience of online campaigns across all four nations in Britain.”

Simon Miller, chief executive of the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel, said: “We appointed the F5 team in Edinburgh because they have outstanding hotel and tourism experience, and are able to provide a full marketing communications service, which is ideal for us, with opening the hotel in three months’ time.”
