After trebling in size during the last year, data-driven-services business VE Interactive has moved to new 14,000 sq-ft premises in Clerkenwell and become a Corporate member of MiNetwork.

Led by British serial entrepreneur CEO David-Joseph Brown, who previously owned New York-based digital publisher Serious, Ve Interactive has over 50 staff based at its new home and the company’s UK development has mirrored its international growth. In the last 13 months, it has opened offices in Boston, USA; Stockholm, Sweden; Sydney, Australia and Sao Paulo, Brazil. An announcement of a sixth location is imminent and Ve Interactive now employs over 100 staff worldwide.

“It’s a very exciting time for Ve Interactive and the other businesses we support. To have grown this quickly in spite of difficult market conditions, is testament to the quality of the services we provide and the hard work and talent of our team internationally,” said Brown. “Our landmark cart abandonment and remarketing software, and private network have already made great waves in the online industry, so we’re thrilled to be moving to Tech City, London, the world’s fastest-growing digital centre and certainly the epi-centre of digital Europe.“

Ve Interactive provides a cutting-edge digital presence to both businesses, as well as financial advisers Smart Investor HQ and exciting bespoke furniture designer-maker Tree Couture. The company also provides pro-bono digital assistance to international development charity Concern Universal.

Formerly a professional musician, Brown has built his businesses with his wife, Kathy Heslop, herself also a former professional musician, (they co-wrote the trailer music to the movie Notting Hill!) and the basement of the new headquarters will contain a purpose-built recording studio and a photographic studio for internal and client productions.

The new Tech City premises will contain a recording and photographic studio and also host conference and lecture facilities, as well as other online businesses that Ve Interactive supports and/or has an interest in, including rising online fine-wine merchant ThePerfectCellar and Bespoke HQ, the exciting new tailoring house of Master Tailor Stephen Williams, who has a growing following of high profile celebrity, sports professionals and business clients including Michael Portillo, James Caan and Alan Carr.

Ve Interactive was honoured with a TechWorld 201 UKTI Business Innovation Award, a British Interactive Media Association Award 2011 for Retail, a Marketing Innovation Award 2011, and a Best Business Award 2011. In 2012, it has already been selected as a finalist for the Econsultancy Innovation Awards, the Revolution Awards, the Performance Marketing Awards and The Drum Marketing Awards (for Marketing Services Company of the Year).
