The Range has unveiled a new campaign for spring and summer, created by VCCP Blue, featuring the character Malcolm who starred in the Christmas advert.

In the 20 second TV ad, Malcolm says that it is easier to say what the shop has, rather than what it doesn’t have, with one product being ‘speaker earrings’.

Cliff Hall, managing director of VCCP Blue, said: “This distinctive and engaging campaign creates huge saliency in the highly competitive retail environment and we are delighted to be part of one of the country’s fastest growing retail brands.”

The ‘speaker earring’ execution will be supported by 10 second ‘snapshot’ TV ads, as well as radio and outdoor ads.

Chris Dawson, owner and founder of The Range, said: “We have always been focussed on bringing the widest range of quality products at affordable prices to our customers and this has never been truer than this summer with lots of great offers available.”

The campaign launched on Saturday 24 March, and is set to run for two months.
