The Drum and RAR launch search for London’s best independent agencies

The Drum is joining up with Recommended Agency Register to find London’s best performing independent marketing agencies.

With industry league tables often dominated by big networked agencies, The Drum is turning the spotlight on standalone businesses. Agencies will be ranked based on business performance indicators such as turnover, turnover growth, efficiency, profitability and profit growth. The results will be published in a special supplement on 11 May.

Diane Young, director of RAR,said: “An independent agency is one which is run as a single entity without reference to a parent company. It includes owner-managed businesses, single company PLCs, members of informal networks and companies with outside investors. Members of network businesses, whether global or not are not eligible.”

To be considered for the feature, agencies need to register an account, complete their financial information and gather references from their clients in order to become a recommended agency.

The deadline is Monday 2 April 2012.
