Pimms celebrates start of summer with giant deckchair
Pimms yesterday celebrated the fact that British Summer Time officially begins on Sunday by creating a giant deckchair on Bournemouth Beach.
The chair, created by sculptor Stuart Murdoch, is eight-and-a-half metres tall by five-and-a-half metres wide.
Weighing almost eight tonne, it has been named the world’s largest deckchair.
