Bruce Hutton, chief executive of Bray Leino has been named the IPA’s out-of-London chairman.

Following council elections, Hutton has stepped up from the role of deputy chairman, taking over from Simon Dodd, founder of The Digger Agency.

In his role, Bruce will listen to the views and concerns of regional member agencies and will also be expected to ensure their representation on the main IPA Council.

Hutton held the role of deputy chairman for two years.

“I'm pleased to be able to build on the great things achieved by Simon Dodd, and really dial up what the IPA can do for its membership outside of London. I am very passionate about this new role and hope to make a real difference in my two year term," said Hutton.

Meanwhile Fold7 has also been elected to IPA membership.
