McDonald's launches Monopoly Millions with The Marketing Store

The Marketing Store has launched its latest iteration of the Monopoly promotion for McDonald's.

Now in its seventh year, Monopoly Millions allows customers to win prizes by collecting tokens with their meals - there are online win, instant win and collect to win prizes at stake.

This year customers can play ‘on the go’ and track what’s being won in their area via an interactive location map, using real-time data.

The Marketing Store devised and delivered the overall campaign concept, game mechanics, game piece production, logistics and in-restaurant and digital communications.

McDonald’s supports the campaign with through-the-line communication including TV and press.

Steve Howells, senior marketing manager at McDonald's, said: "It’s an exciting time for all of us, and even more so this year with the buzz that’s been building through Facebook and Twitter.”
