Heineken appoints Adam & Eve to handle Bulmers creative work

Heineken has today announced the appointment of Adam & Eve to handle the creative work for cider brand Bulmers, following a two month review.

The agency joined the Heineken roster in 2010 when they were appointed to handle creative work for Foster’s.

James Murphy, founding partner at Adam & Eve said: "Bulmers is a real cider with real roots, not the creation of a focus group like so many recent entrants to the market. It's time to assert that authenticity."

Gareth Turner, senior brand manager for Bulmers, said: “Bulmers has built on a rich heritage spanning 125 years of quality cider making to secure its position as a forward-thinking brand at the forefront of today’s dynamic cider category.

“We look forward to working with Adam & Eve to create an exciting new chapter in the brand’s history in the knowledge that the agency will bring a fresh perspective and strong ideas to Bulmers, along with a creative reel that is second to none.”

The creative arrangements with St Lukes for Bulmers sister brand Strongbow are unaffected by the review and current media planning and buying arrangements through Starcom MediaVest are also unchanged.
