Phil Jones, the founder of RealTime, chairman of the DADI awards judging panel and organiser of the digital community’s Podge Lunches, has become a non-executive chairman of CTI Digital.

Jones will work alongside the agency’s CEO Nick Rhind in developing the business across the UK.

Rhind said: “Having watched and admired Phil for that last 5 years it is clear to see that he plugged right in to the heart of the UK’s digital sector and his black book seems absolutely endless. For CTI Digital to sign Phil up on our board is a real coup and I know that the knowledge, intelligence and contacts that he will bring to CTI as we push harder into London will help us to add even more value and opportunities for our team. It was an added bonus to find out Phil is a fellow mancunian as well.”

Jones added: “CTI are quite a rare breed and a godsend to companies who have reservations about investing in technology, they take the pain away. Its great to see a company that has found a unique niche and made a great name for themselves in a very competitive industry. The team are really focussed and there are some great key people I have met there. I hope by helping them make the right connections they will go from strength to strength and really move forwards.”
