Pinterest plans to update profile page and launch an iPad app, its chief executive says
Pinboard social media website Pinterest is set to receive a profile page update in the near future, its chief executive, Ben Silbermann, announced at SXSW.
Silbermann, who is also co-founder of the site, said that the aim is ‘to make it more beautiful’ and easier for users to find like-minded people.
He added that in the future, people could be able to pin videos from sites such as Vimeo, Hulu and Netflix, as well as pinning pictures, and that an iPad app is in the works.
