Nokia book to be designed by Jack Renwick Studio
A new book to showcase new typeface Nokia Pure is to be designed by Jack Renwick Studio, which will feature moving blocks of type that recipients will be able to use to print on to large A0 posters which are also being produced as part of the project.
Renwick is working with a small team of freelancers, after she left her role as creative director at The Partners to start her own business.
She said: “The obvious route would have been for them to go in a digital direction, but they wanted to reinforce their creative positioning. And in contrast to the digital world they operate in, this project takes Johannes Gutenberg as its inspiration.”
Gutenberg invented moveable type, and the book looks at what the world would be like without Gutenberg's invention.
