Classic Media buys rights to Noddy from Chorion

The rights to Enid Blyton’s children's character Noddy has been sold to Classic Media for an undisclosed sum.

Classic Media currently hold the rights to brands such as Postman Pat, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Where's Waldo? and The Lone Ranger.

Mary Durkan, Chorion's managing director, said: "Noddy is a brand with a wonderful heritage and we are pleased that we have found a good home for it with Classic Media.”

Last Wednesday is was revealed that Chorion had sold its stake in Agatha Christie Limited to Acorn Productions Limited.
