Aldi has appointed The Leith Agency to develop a Scottish focused campaign for its stores north of the border.

The new campaign will break on Monday, with media being handled by Universal McCann.

It is thought that the agency beat Aldi’s marketing agency McCann Manchester which handles its UK advertising activity.

Ed Brooke, head of Leith, said: “We’re delighted to have been selected by Aldi to develop a campaign for them in Scotland. Their current “Like” campaign is excellent and we’ll look to complement this north of the border with work that builds an even stronger connection with Scottish shoppers”
