Nicky Iapino, managing director of R.O.EYE is understood to have left the business at the end of last week.

Iapino joined the affiliate marketing business in 2010, initially as a non-executive director, before becoming commercial director and then managing director. She had previously held managing director roles with Adlink and Affilinet UK, which she launched in 2005.

She has also held the position of COO of online marketing agency dgm.

When appointed by R.O.EYE, Iapino was tasked with growing the business.

At the time of writing The Drum was awaiting a response from the agency as to Iapino’s departure.

On Iapino’s Linkedin profile, Adrian Moss, founder and Group CEO at Asia Digital Holdings, commented on his time working with her; “I am proud to have had the opportunity to work with Nicky when I launched UKaffiliates in early 2000 and then when having left she rejoined us as DGM. She knows her stuff and is an excellent manager internally and externally. She is now an "old timer" in performance marketing and can run circles around many new suppliers both on a theoretical and a delivery basis. Ten years’ experience in the space and many many satisfied clients counts. Clients should be very happy to have her involved in their account. If she can’t get the results I doubt anyone can.”
