The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing has started its search for a new CEO.

The announcement follows the passing of IDM co-founder Derek Holder last month.

Caroline Worboys, chair of the IDM Trust, said: "Derek made a lasting contribution to the development of our profession and his tireless work has influenced the careers of tens of thousands.

"He was immensely proud of what the Institute achieved and has left the IDM in robust health, with a strong management team at the helm who will continue to run the business operations in the months to come.

"The IDM Trust is absolutely committed to building on Derek's incredible legacy and our search has started for a new CEO who will continue to drive the IDM as the leaders in professional development for direct and digital marketers."

The IDM is now working with Direct Recruitment to finalise the brief for the role. It will post more information on its website "in due course".
