Domino's Pizza launches Wild West Facebook game

Domino's Pizza has launched a Wild West-inspired Facebook game to promote its new Saucy BBQ Stuffed Crust pizza.

The Showdown game challenges players to compete in a duel against 'BBQ Pete'. For every question answered correctly, the player moves a step forwards – just like in a classic high noon showdown.

Players can invite their Facebook friends to join in by creating their own rancour of cowboys. Each Friday the team at the top of the Domino's Showdown leadebroard will win a pizza party.

The game was built by Arena Media's digital arm, 247, with creative handled by CHS Creative.

Simon Wallis, sales and marketing director at Domino's Pizza, said: "We know that Domino’s fans love to get involved on Facebook and the Showdown gives them a great reason to get stuck in and have fun with our new crust."
