Mr.Freeze has appointed Altrincham-based PR agency Rumpus Communications to raise awareness of the freezepop brand.

Rumpus will drive a communications strategy, focussing on communicating the key messages of the brand to the trade and consumer through a programme of intensive PR activity including trade and consumer relations, events and sampling, as well as social media activity.

Brian Hartley, Mr. Freeze business manager, said: “We see PR as a way to unlock the potential of the Mr.Freeze brand, so it was vital that we found an agency which understood our business objectives and provided creative and engaging solutions for achieving these. We are therefore delighted to be working with Rumpus in this pivotal and exciting year for the brand.”

Paul Evans, director at Rumpus, said: “Everyone has a Mr. Freeze memory; it is such an iconic UK brand. Our job is to remind people of those memories and create a set of new ones, for the next generation of customers.”
