‘Hansel of Film’ unveils new website with Numiko
The ‘Hansel of Film’ project by Shetland Arts Development Agency has unveiled a new website, created by Numiko.
Numiko were commissioned to design and build a content manageable website, which will be the main hub for the project, allowing people to upload their films, apply to become ‘runners’ and follow the relay as it travels to each of the venues up and down the country.
Emma Harvey, Numiko’s managing director, said: “We’re really excited to be working on such a creative and unique concept. It’s great to have been selected from a number of agencies, to design and built an arts website using Drupal.”
‘Hansel of Film’ allows local filmmakers to see their films on the big screen in venues around the UK.
Kathy Hubbard, Shetland Arts’ head of development, said: “Numiko’s track record was crucial to their being commissioned to design and build the Hansel web site. They immediately understood our requirements and we quickly developed a relationship of mutual trust and confidence. The web site is the key to the success of Hansel of Film and it was vital for us to be able to work closely and efficiently with the designers. We have really enjoyed the creative experience and are now looking forward to taking the project forward around the country.”
The 'Hansel of Film' relay starts in Shetland just as the Olympic Torch arrives on 10 June, 2012.
