Samsung Galaxy beam to put a projector in your pocket
Samsung have announced their latest weapon in their pursuit of mobile phone dominance, a smartphone/projector hybrid called the Samsung Galaxy Beam.
Chief gimmick of Samsung’s latest entry is this ability to project content such as media onto a spare blank wall, transforming the device from a puny 4inchscreen into a 50inch giant.
The ‘ultra bright’ on board projector will give the owner a novel way to bore family and friends with holiday snaps and the ability to give impromptu presentations.
Also tucked away under the bonnet is some more standard fare, including a 5MP camera and a 1 GHz dual core CPU.
