Sacha Baron Cohen steals Oscars limelight
Irreverent comedian Sacha baron Cohen has proven to be a highlight of the 84th Oscars Award ceremony following his red carpet antics.
Dressed in over the top military regalia, Cohen played the part of General Aladeen, lead character in his latest flick – the Dictator.
Clutching an urn which he claimed contained the ashes of the late North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il Cohen proclaimed that it had been a long time wish of Il to be sprinkled over the red carpet and “Halle Berry’s chest” before proceeding to “accidentally” dump the contents over Ryan Seacrest.
The publicity stunt clearly had the desired effect as footage of the incident went viral on Youtube and Twitter.
