PacketVideo has announced a partnership with Page Foundry to make Page Foundry's elibrary available to app developers.

The partnership will introduce a complete eBook solution to PacketVideo's media platform, including a complete eBook catalog, digital rights management, a cloud-based library and merchandising tools.

Dan McFarland, founder & CEO of Page Foundry, said: "We are very pleased to be working with PV to bring to market a complete digital content ecosystem featuring eBooks, digital music and digital video.

"We believe eBooks will be a valued addition to PV's media solutions, offering a compelling and profitable new market opportunity for PV's customers."

Joel Espelien, chief business officer at PacketVideo, said: "The ability to offer our customers a complete, digital content solution is core to our strategy.

"PV believes that customers should be able to access all of their digital content from one access point.” We deliver this capability today for music, photos and video and are pleased to be working with Page Foundry to introduce a fourth content type - eBooks - and deliver the first complete, digital content ecosystem solution."
