A mysterious substitution of Jazz FM host Mike Vitti’s utterances for a gay porn soundtrack last Saturday night has sparked an investigation by management.

The station was forced to issue an apology to listeners of the Funky Sensation show after several minutes of male grunting disrupted their enjoyment.

Blaming the “highly regrettable incident” on “unauthorised activity and inappropriate behaviour in the studio” head of programming Mike Vitti said that he was treating the lapse “extremely seriously”.

Vitti said: “Please accept our profound and sincere apologies for any offence that may have been caused and rest assured we have taken steps to ensure that there will be no repeat of this incident.”

Disciplinary action will be taken against the individual responsible “should it be necessary.”
