The UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT) has appointed fashion and retail PR specialists Lisa Berwin Communications to help promote its repositioning.

As part of the UKFT repositioning, there will be a re-launch event next month in London with guest of honour Lord Wolfson of Aspley Guise.

The agency was appointed with the aim of driving forward the UKFT’s new message and raising its profile to the next generation.

Lisa Berwin said: “We are delighted to be working with the UKFT during their exciting new stage of development. It is an essential voice for the fashion and textile industry and has unrivalled connections and experience that can prove a vital tool for both more established and smaller businesses.”

The UKFT will also raise the profile of its “Let’s Make it Here” database which lists and profiles UK manufacturers.
