Ofcom grants consent for BBC to broadcast 2012 London Olympics

Ofcom has officially granted its consent to the BBC to broadcast live coverage of the 2012 London Olympic games this summer following a consultation process.

The media regulator has said that it received no adverse responses during the consultation process over the BBC’s coverage of the games, which begin on 27 July through to 12 August.
