Creative agency Archibald Ingall Stretton has launched a new social media division headed by Neil Kleiner, formerly UK head of social media for the Havas Media Network.

Kleiner joined Havas Media in April 2010 and before that was global social media strategist at Momentum Worldwide. Prior roles include consultancy work for The Telegraph and Interesource.

At ais social Kleiner will report to the newly-appointed board of Sarah Stratford, Geoff Gower and Stephen Watford.

Kleiner said: "I’m looking forward to putting into practice our philosophy of providing 'creative innovation that people value' to our range of clients.

"For us it’s about ensuring we can work with the myriad distractions of the modern consumer and find the unique, compelling or simply useful thing that will allow them to welcome a brand into their life."
