The Royal Society for Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) has appointed Cherry Tiger for donor retention work and to work on its high profile cash appeal.

The advertising consultancy’s initial project will be to support the RSA’s Great Room Appeal, which seeks to refurbish its main lecture hall.

Tom Beesley, marketing manager at the RSA, said: “We chose Cherry Tiger because of the passion and creatively that shone through when pitching for our Great Room Appeal project. Their pitch presentation and excellent concepts demonstrated they immediately understood what the RSA stood for. In appointing Cherry Tiger we know we have the right agency in place to help build our fundraising programme for the next 3 years”.

Dan James, creative partner at Cherry Tiger, added: “Working with a brand like the RSA is a creative dream – they’ve got both an incredible heritage and a forward-thinking outlook. Plus they want to change the world. We’re delighted to play a part in that!”
