Frank O’Donnell appointed as editor of Edinburgh Evening News
The Edinburgh Evening News has a new editor, Frank O’Donnell, who is currently assistant editor (group head of news) at The Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday.
O'Donnell will take over from Tom Little who is to become head of policy and public affairs at Edinburgh City Council.
O'Donnell has been with The Scotsman Publications Ltd for 12 years.
Allmediascotland quotes TSPL managing director, Andrew Richardson, as saying in an announcement to staff: "I am confident that Frank has the personal qualities and experience to be successful as editor, and would like you to join me in congratulating him on his new appointment."
