Angry Birds make Facebook debut
Smartphone gaming phenomenon Angry Birds is to migrate from its fertile mobile hunting grounds to a desktop browser near you after launching on Facebook.
The free instalment of the title has been specially configured to run on web browsers with finger swipe actions replaced by the mouse to catapult birds at a menagerie of enemies.
Added extras included on Facebookâs version include the ability to pay for more birds and share scores with friends via your news feed.
Angry Birds has been downloaded over 500m times since its launch with developer Rovio cashing in with a range of merchandise ranging from stuffed toys to T-shirts.
