Sue Ryder looks to Clearsilver to help develop event as signature fundraising activity

National charity Sue Ryder has appointed Clearsilver Marketing to deliver its annual fundraising events.

The Yorkshire agency will be tasked with the development and implementation of the marketing of the events, as well as concept development and their delivery. Branding and identity, as well as PR and social media activities will also be undertaken by Clearsilver.

Events will take place across 11 locations during September, with Clearsilver aiming to generate over 8,000 participants, while the charity also hopes to make the events its signature fundraising activity each year as part of a three-year-growth plan.

Louise Leach, managing director of Clearsilver, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Sue Ryder to create a signature event that raises significant funds as well as awareness for the charity. This represents a rare opportunity to be involved with the planning, development and implementation of a mass-scale campaign from the very beginning, and we are looking forward to taking that journey with the team at Sue Ryder.”
